Calgary Regional Vex Competition : December 2018

December 15th 2018 : we went back to Alberta and had a blast at the Calgary Regional tournament, hosted by Curtis at the Master Acedemy.

What a great place to host a tournament ! The weather was very Alberta : cold and snowy, but people in Alberta have a warm heart and made it great for us to be there.

The competition went very well, extremely good spirit from all the teams, coaches, mentors and parents presents.

We started the competition off strong by placing our skills run in the morning before our qualifications. When we went on to qualifications we had gotten a perfect autonomous point score of 24 in a 6 match qualifications. We were the only team with perfect perfect AP’s and one of the two teams who had 6-0 losses. We ended up picking the third seed(3388A) and winning all of the vex autonomous periods and matches making us win the entire tournament in Calgary Alberta.

We ended up winning The Competition, The Skills Challenge, The Excellence Award, and the Sportsmanship award(Voted By the Students themselves).
